Available Royal Camp Jobs
Housekeepers/Camp Attendants/Janitors – A Housekeeper has the same responsibilities and duties of a Camp Attendant and / or Janitor. They are responsible for the living area of the remote camp site. You will be cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, washing linens, etc. Local Edmonton candidates preferred. 2-3 years experience as a housekeeper or a janitor is preferred. You must have valid Standard First Aid certification. You must also be able to work day shifts, afternoon shifts, split shifts, or night shifts.
1st Cook – A 1st Cook is responsible for the food safety and quality of food prepared within their assigned station.
2nd Cook – 2nd cook is responsible for supporting kitchen activities by producing large volumes of vegetable dishes, soups, salads and sandwiches. This is a role which requires strong knife skills and above average culinary knowledge.
Cooks Helper – Cooks Helper is responsible for supporting kitchen activities by producing large volumes of vegetable dishes, soups, salads and sandwiches. This is a role which requires strong knife skills and above average culinary knowledge.
Water & Sewage Truck Drivers – The Water & Sewage Truck Driver is responsible for operating tridem axle water and or sewer trucks for water delivery and sewage collection services. This role is essential for ensuring that our lodges have a safe and clean supply of water which is transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
Bakers – Bakers responsible for the food safety and quality of food prepared within the night shift. Also reporting to chef and providing an exceptional dining experience for the clients. Red Seal Baker or similar culinary diploma preferred. 3-5 years of experience in high volume kitchen is a must. You must be able to start immediately and be able to work both day and night shifts. Local Edmonton candidates preferred.
Camp Watch – Camp Watch is responsible for monitoring an inactive site and performing daily inspections. In the Camp Watch role you will be working alone for extended periods of time in a remote location. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in an isolated area and have a proven history of self-motivation due to the high amount of autonomy the position entails. There will be satellite TV access, limited cellular service, and no access to the internet.
Chef Trainee – Reporting to the Chef, a Chef Trainee plays an integral role within Royal Camp Services ltd by ensuring our clients are delivered an exceptional culinary experience. A Chef Trainee is responsible for the food safety and quality of food prepared within their assigned lodge.
Camp Manager Trainee – Reporting to the Camp Manager, the Camp Manager Trainee is responsible for supporting the camp’s operation by maintaining a functional front desk, providing guidance to staff, responding to client concerns, and completing daily camp reports.
