Red Chris Mine in North West British Columbia is hiring for following mine job positions. It is a large copper mine located in Dease Lake, BC. It also a gold and silver mine. The company has the contract for the lifetime of the mine. Red Chris Mine is a branch of one of the largest metal mining company in North America known as Imperial Metals Company.
All the jobs listed below require you at work at the Red Chris Mine which is located 80 KM south of Dease Lake, BC. You are required to stay at the camp provided by the mining company during your work schedule. All your meals and other accommodations will be provided by Red Chris Mine. You will have a shift schedule such as 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Transportation to and out of this remote mine will be accommodated by the mining company.
Available Positions
Excavator Operator – Qualified candidates must have minimum of 2-3 Years’ experience operating Excavator 850 to 2000. They must be able to read stakes and be able to place a grade. Applicants must also have the ability to manage trucks that are hauling to them. Class 5 Drivers Licence required.
Heavy Equipment Operator – 780 Drill
Dozer Operator – Qualified candidates must have minimum of 2-3 Years’ experience operating D6-D9 Dozer. Applicants must be able to read stakes and be able to place a grade. You must also have the ability to manage trucks that are hauling to them. Class 5 Drivers License required.
Utility Operator – Qualified candidates must have 3-4 year’s experience operating various pieces of equipment. They must also be willing to operate various pieces of equipment in the same day. Class 5 Drivers License required.
Labourer – You must have minimum of 1-2 year experience. You must also be physically fit for up to 50 lbs and must have good driving skills. Class 5 Drivers License required.
Haul Truck Operator – Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 Years’ experience driving Haul Truck sized 777. They must also have experience loading, off- loading and working in the mining environment. Class 5 Drivers License required.
