The company hiring for these positions is the Weaver Group. Established in 1994, Weaver Group provides pipeline, facility, and civil construction services to major contractors in Canada. They are a large company with over 500 employees with offices throughout British Columbia.
The heavy equipment operator position which includes rock truck drivers and hoe operators are to provide bore support to a drilling rig and must be willing to company with OHS, HSE, WGL, and other policies, procedures and practices.
Requirements for this position includes,
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating both track hoe & rock truck in similar roles
- Standard First Aid CPR-C & AED
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 BC
- Pipeline Construction Safety Training (PCST)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Fire-rated safety gear
All remote camp jobs are scheduled on a set rotation which is set to be discussed up on hiring. Shifts are up to 12 hours long with paid overtime.
