Ready to join the oilfield workforce of Alberta in remote camp catering industry? Now hiring Rig Cooks, Bakers, General Helpers, Chefs, and more. These positions are hired for upcoming remote camp jobs openings in Alberta Oil Sands. These remote camps are set to open in the upcoming weeks. All positions mentioned below include full camp accommodations including transportation. All positions are based off of Edmonton, Alberta. You will be working on rotation schedule with 21 days on and 7 days off with 12 hour workdays. Great pay and benefits.
Rig Cook – As a Rig Cook, your primary responsibilities include, reporting to the Main Chef, ensure food production schedules are aligned with client operation schedules, direct, control and manage the overall camp operation. The tasks include, but not limited to food preparation including baked goods, production, quality and cost control, inventory control, grocery orders, housekeeping, employee performance management, and scheduling.
Chef – As a Chef, you will be reporting to the General Camp Manager. You will also oversee day to day operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation, cleaning, serving, ordering, and control of cooked and uncooked food, training of staff.
General Helper – As a General Helper, you will be reporting to the Chef. Your responsibilities include assisting in the overall kitchen operations as well as the cleaning and sanitizing of designated kitchen areas, tools, equipment and pots and dishes.
Baker – As a Baker, you will be reporting to the Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and baking of all pies, squares, bread products and daily desserts as required; in addition to ensuring their freshness, quality, consistency and variety.
