Ledcor is currently hiring all kinds of Heavy Equipment Operators including Dozers, Excavators, Trucks, Graders, Shovels, Sidebooms, and more! If you are not a resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta, you will be eligible for full camp accommodations and rotational travel allowance. Then daily bus transportation from the city of Fort McMurray to the project site and return will be provided. You will be working 20/10 shift rotation working 10-12 hours per day. All benefits are provided by CLAC. Work will be done outdoors in rough terrain and under extreme weather conditions.
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Dozer) – CAT D6, D8, D10
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Trucks) – CAT 777
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Graders) – CAT 16M
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Excavators) – John Deer 450
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Shovel) – Komatsu PC1200, PC2000
Requirements include a minimum 1 years’ experience in industrial tailings maintenance or reclamation setting, successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing, Valid CSTS .09 (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification, Valid OSSA Regional Orientation or Basic Safety Orientation certificate, and possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 driver’s license.
