All remote camp positions are listed below. Note that all kitchen positions require you to have your Food Safety Certificate and First Aid Certificate. If you don’t have these certificates, see below for how to obtain them.

Available Camp Jobs

1st Cook – As a 1st Cook, it is your responsible for planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities. In order to qualify for this position, you must have 5 year experience being a Head Chef or 1st Cook. Cook Trade Certification, Cook Red Seal Certificate, Food Safe Certificate, and WHIMIS are required for this position.

Head Chef – As a Head Chef, it is your responsible for planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities. In order to qualify for this position, you must have 5 year experience being a Head Chef or 1st Cook. Cook Trade Certification, Cook Red Seal Certificate, Food Safe Certificate, and WHIMIS are required for this position.

2nd Cook – As a 2nd Cook, you are responsible for assisting the Head Chef/1st Cook in preparing of all meals and ensuring the kitchen, dining and living areas are clean and sanitary at all times. Minimum 1 year kitchen experience, FoodSafe, and WHIMIS certification required for this position.

3rd Cook – As a 3rd Cook, it is your responsibility to help with food preparation as per the Head/1st Cook requests.

Kitchen Helper – As a Kitchen Helper, it is your responsibility to help with food preparation as per the Head/1st Cook requests

Breakfast Baker – As a Breakfast Baker, it is your responsibility to assist the Head Chef/1st Cook in preparing breakfast items outlined in a predetermined menu plan. Minimum 1 year experience and FoodSafe certification required for this position.

Housekeeping Supervisor – The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting with overall camp cleanliness and sanitation. Minimum 1-2 years of experience required for this position.

Housekeeper – The Housekeeper is responsible for assisting with overall camp cleanliness and sanitation. Minimum 1 to 2 years housekeeping experience required for this position.

Camp Attendant – The Camp Attendant is responsible for assisting with overall camp cleanliness and sanitation. Minimum 1 to 2 years housekeeping experience required for this position.

Maintenance Personnel – As a Maintenance Personal, your time is split between maintenance duties and janitorial/housekeeping support.

Camp Manager – Minimum 4 years’ experience in a related field of work; preferably a large camp catering environment and 3 or more years’ experience in a managerial role required for this position. Completion of basic First Aid, basic and advanced Food Safe training, WHIMIS, HCCAP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Travel Restraint, Transport of Dangerous Goods, Accident Investigation, and Health and Safety Training also required.
